WHO IS BENJAMIN DRURY

Two decades. One obsession.

Benjamin Drury has spent twenty years working at the intersection of human behaviour, organisational culture and high performance. His clients are founders and senior leaders of companies between £5M and £50M who have achieved something significant, and now find that what got them here will not get them where they are going.

He developed RAW Leadership after studying what championship sports teams, classical philosophy, and quietly failing businesses all have in common. The answer surprised him.

It will probably surprise you too.

Benjamin is not an academic. He has founded companies, lost money, rebuilt, and carries the marks to show for it. A practitioner who happens to write books.

If your application looks like a fit, Benjamin sends a private link with a single question to answer on camera. Two minutes. One take. No editing. The video is reviewed only by Benjamin and is the sole basis for the next step.

RAW strategy review.

A one-week, in-person process. Benjamin meets with you, no slides, no agenda you’ve seen before.  He also talks to the people you lead. By the end of it, both of you will know whether the advisory is the right fit. If it isn’t, the Review still stands on its own merit. Most leaders find it the most useful week of their year.

The honest questions.

Two reasons. The first is privacy. Clients of the advisory bring the work, the questions and the company conversations that go nowhere else. None of it belongs on a public page. The second is filtering. If you cannot trust that there is substance here without seeing every detail of it, the work will not land for you. The leaders who do well in this advisory are willing to commit to the gateway first.

A week long, review including in person sessions with Benjamin. No slides. No prep document. You bring what is actually happening in your business and in your leadership. And Benjamin talks to those you lead. By the end of the session, both of you will know whether the advisory is right. Most leaders describe it as the most useful four hours of their year, whether or not they proceed.

If your application is not progressed, you receive a personal note from Benjamin explaining why, and a recommendation for where to go next. If you reach the Strategy Review and the advisory turns out not to be the right fit, the Review still stands on its own merit.

Disclosed on entry. What can be said publicly: the cadence is built to fit the rhythm of a real business, not a training calendar. It is significant. It is sustained. It is not endless.

Yes. It is always in-person. For the strategy review, Benjamin will come to you. The advisory blends in-person where you are, and opportunities meet away from the office. The rhythm sessions and venues will be agreed in advance to suit you. 

Absolutely. Mutual NDA covers everything. No client name appears publicly without explicit consent. None of the testimonials on this page name the companies, or persons beyond what they have agreed to share.

Because this is a private advisory, not a course, Benjamin gives each client the focus this work requires. Six is the largest number for which that holds true. Anything beyond, and the quality of attention degrades. The cap is not a marketing device. It is operational.
